Import lists from Apollo

Ellis can import lists from apollo for prospecting.

Search Apollo for Prospect List

Search for your desired list of people in apollo. If you want to search for a list of companies you can search for companies then join this on a search of people to get the people working at those companies. We recommend you save your search once it has the persona you want to target.

Export from apollo

Once you have a search you like, select as many prospects as you want and add them to a list. This is essential to prevent apollo from double charging you for exports.

Once you have added a number of prospects from your search to a list, wait a few seconds until your list has all the prospects you added. It can take up to 10 minutes for apollo to load your prospects into a list.

Export only the verified emails from apollo as a csv. Be sure to include the linkedin_url.

Import into Ellis

Navigate to your ellis campaign, or create one if you don’t have one. Navigate to the audiences, create one if you don’t have one. Inside the audience, go to the upload tab and upload the list.

Notes

• Be sure save your searches in apollo. It could also be helpful to save your searches as a persona.
• Export only verified leads from apollo, otherwise you’ll export people without email addresses
• wait for apollo to add your searches to lists, otherwise you may miss some leads
• ellis will keep track of your raw upload, but you should also save the raw csv to prevent being double charged for it
