## Setup your Ellis Domain and Email account

Learn how to do the initial setup for cold email in ellis.

### Setup a Domain and Email for Cold Outreach

Set up a domain and email account with 1 click inside of ellis.

    Navigate to the [Domain tab](https://app.ellis.so/domains). Click "register domain". Select a domain and the
    name
    for your new inbox. Ellis handles the rest!

### Prepare your email list

Upload, clean, and enrich your email list in Ellis.

    Export your list from apollo as a csv, be sure to include the linked\_url column for enrichment.

    Create a new campaign in Ellis. Navigate to the audience tab, create a new audience. Navigate to the
    'upload' tab. Upload the csv into Ellis.

    Once your csv is done uploading you can clean it, then enrich it on the audience settings tab.
    Select clean, then select enrich, and the list will be ready to go.

### Write hyper personalized emails

Use Ellis to write hyper personalized outreach.

    Once your list is cleaned and enriched you have the data to start writing hyper-personalized emails.
    Navigate to the campaign/prompt page and enter in your companies key features and phases to include/avoid.
    Clicking generate will give you a sample of what the emails will look like.

    Once you like how the emails look you can click save. We recommend adding at least 2 links, one for booking
    meetings and one for giving the recipient extra content. Either a landing page or something else.

### Start your campaign

Start your campaign!

    Once you're happy with your prompt and you have it saved navigate to the campaign/settings page and
    start your campaign. You can pause it at any point.
